Nasir Khan Saikat is a Bangladeshi software engineer, community leader, organizer, and photographer. He was recently appointed as the Director of Bangladesh Flying Labs. Saikat has extensive experience in software development, working as a full-stack developer for various agencies and freelance projects. He specializes in building custom websites, web applications, mobile apps, and Facebook applications. His team focuses on delivering high-quality solutions tailored to business needs.
Beyond his technical career, Saikat is actively involved in community work. Since 2008, he has contributed to Wikipedia and serves as an administrator for Bengali Wikipedia. He is also the Bangladesh Lead for Creative Commons, promoting open knowledge and education. As a language manager for the Scratch Programming project, he helps expand coding education. In photography, he specializes in architectural and landscape photography, creating virtual tours of significant places like the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum. He also serves as the IT Secretary of the Bangladesh Photographic Society, supporting the growth of photography in Bangladesh.
